Weekly Activities for Seniors 55+
Come on out and join the fun!
The Lakeland Senior Center is located 4527 Canada Road, next to I.H. Clubhouse. The facility is nestled in the picturesque setting of I.H. Park. Activities are open to all local-area seniors 55+.
The Center offers a variety of leisure activities and programs for seniors 55+, including athletic opportunities, educational classes, and luncheons/dinners.
Most activities and programs are free or have a minimal charge. Some activities are held at I.H. Clubhouse and the events stage, both within eyesight of the Center.

1st = First Monday of each month
2nd = Second Monday of each month
3rd = Third Monday of each month
Weekly = Every Week
Monday
Weekly: Jammin’ 2 p.m.
1st & 3rd: Bunco 11 a.m.
Tuesday
*1st: Jewelry Making 1 p.m. (periodically)
Wkly: Free for All 10 a.m. (knitting, diamond art, etc.)
2nd: Craft Corner 1 p.m.
4th: Canvas Art (acrylic) 1 p.m.
Wednesday
Weekly Pinochle 8:30 a.m.
1st: Book Club 1 p.m.
Thursday
Wkly: Mah-Jong 12:30 p.m.
Wkly: Watercolor 1 p.m.
Friday
Wkly: Bible Study 10 a.m.
2nd & 4th: Mexican Train 10 a.m.
1st & 3rd: Bingo 12:30 p.m.
Saturday
Weekly Bridge Club 10 a.m.
Lakeland Senior Center, 4527 Canada Road, is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and other scheduled times.

A Few Previous Activities...
"Craft Corner" - Participants get creative at monthly classes
Volunteer instructs, Vickie Dubois, Penny Monroe, and Karen Parsley, rotate teaching the monthly art and craft classes featuring a variety of fun projects. .
They are hands on during the class. Most projects are easy to complete during one class.
Participants always go home happy with a completed project to show off to friends and family.

Got a craft? Like to socialize? You’ll love our morning crafters on Tuesdays. Everybody works on their own project or joins in on a specific craft.
