City of Lakeland Shows Appreciation to TDOT Crew

The hard hats came off as TDOT crewmen filled up on a hot fresh lunch plate served by Eat at Eric’s Grill food truck, Wednesday, May 17, during an Appreciation Luncheon sponsored by Mayor Wyatt Bunker, Board of Commissioners, and City of Lakeland.

The crewmen selected from a list of Hoagies and Such, including burger hoagies, catfish hoagies, smoked sausage hoagies, and the other favs, like the Philly Steak Cheese, and Classic Patty Melt served with hot piping French fries, and a drink.
The luncheon was held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in appreciation of all the work TDOT has accomplished on the I-40/Canada Road Project.

Mayor Wyatt Bunker was present for the event hosted at the Mall Annex parking lot, near the construction site, along with Commissioner, Matt Wright, and City Manager, Jim Atkinson, who each mingled with TDOT workers, congratulating them on a job-well-done thus far.
