Tennessee residents are entitled to inspect and request copies of City records.
The Tennessee Public Records Act is found in Tennessee Code Annotated 10-7-101 and the sections that follow it.
Pursuant to Tennessee Code Ann. Section 10-7-503 (g), every governmental entity subject to the Tennessee Public Records Act (TPRA) (Tennessee Code Ann. Section 10-7-501 et seq.), must establish a written public policy that is properly adopted by the appropriate governing authority.
