Fee Schedule
The City of Lakeland has adopted a fee schedule for various application types. Applications are incomplete unless accompanied by a completed application form, required supporting documentation (if any), and all applicable fees.

Applications for Municipal Planning Commission Review
The Lakeland Municipal Planning Commission reviews all applications and makes decisions for site plans and subdivision plats. Additionally, the Planning Commission reviews applications and makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners for planned developments and zoning map and text amendments. Note that all applications must be submitted by the published application deadline to be placed on the following meeting agenda. Application for Board of Appeals Review
The Lakeland Board of Appeals reviews and makes decisions for zoning variances, administrative appeals, conditional use permits, and boundary interpretations. Note that all applications must be submitted by the published application deadline to be placed on the following meeting agenda. Public Notice Information for Applicants
Certain application types (Planned Development Sketch Plans, Outline Plans, and Preliminary Development Plans; Preliminary Plats; Rezoning Requests; Zoning Variances; among others) require applicants to place public notice signage on site and send public notice letters to neighboring properties.
